I want to be...?
Hi everyone, today I'm going to talk about why I study food engineering, but honestly I don't know how I chose this career.
One day in 2018 I was talking to an old friend from school, she told me that she was studying food engineering at the University of Santiago de Chile, as the conversation progressed, I was noticing how my interest increased according to what he told me, then the conversation ended and I didn't think about this again.
When was it time to apply to college, I was not sure what career to study, all my teens i loved medicine or nursing and I really wanted to study something like this but then I remembered the career that I talked to my friend, check the curricular mesh and I decided that maybe it would be a good option to study this and here I am hahaha.
Regarding my university experience I could say that it was good but really short, in 2019 we had a student strike that lasted a couple of months, then it was the social outbreak and finally the pandemic arrived so I couldn't enjoy a lot of time in the university. However, in this process I met some people that today I consider my friends. :)
When I finish the university, I would like to be able to work in one of the big food companies to later have the opportunity to live outside the country and work in this company but abroad.
By the way when I was a child I wanted to be a great rhythmic dance dancer and practice this discipline until age 12 or so.
